A supportive & collaborative space, where you can show up as you are and work towards the life you want
Honoring values, exploring challenges, and being authentic in a therapeutic setting
Reyna Jimenez, LMSW
Welcome! I’m Reyna - I work with adults and adolescents who are navigating trauma, ADHD, and difficulties with emotional regulation. Together, we focus on building practical skills and exploring past experiences in ways that foster growth and lasting change. I approach therapy with compassion and honesty, tailoring each session to the individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. My goal is to create a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to use the tools we develop in everyday life.
I integrate evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, somatic approaches, & Internal Family Systems. I’m EMDR trained and incorporate an EMDRIA-approved protocols with many of my clients. I value transparency in the therapeutic process and often incorporate psycho-education so clients feel informed, empowered, & actively involved in their healing.
I believe therapy works best when it aligns with a person’s values. I am committed to providing affirming, inclusive care where everyone feels respected, understood, & safe to show up as themselves!
Therapy Services and Specialties
-
Healing from complex trauma (CPTSD) or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) often requires a compassionate, multi-layered approach. I work with clients to process past experiences that continue to impact daily life, relationships, and self-perception. Using trauma-informed practices, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic techniques, and evidence-based talk therapy. We focus on safety, regulation, and building resilience.
-
ADHD can impact focus, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and daily functioning at work and home. I support clients in understanding how their brain works while building realistic systems that actually fit their lives. Our work may include strategies for executive functioning, managing overwhelm, improving routines, and navigating relationships with more clarity and confidence.
-
Relationship challenges can stem from communication patterns, boundaries, attachment wounds, or unresolved past experiences. I support individuals in exploring how they show up in relationships and identifying patterns that may no longer serve them. Therapy provides a space to increase self-awareness, strengthen communication, and build healthier, more fulfilling connections.
-
Attachment patterns shape how we relate to others, manage emotions, and experience closeness and safety. I work with clients to explore how early relationships and past experiences influence current patterns in relationships, boundaries, and self-worth.
-
Anxiety can show up as constant worry, overthinking, physical tension, or feeling stuck in survival mode. I help clients understand what their anxiety is communicating while building tools to manage symptoms in daily life. Our work may include nervous system regulation, identifying thought patterns, setting boundaries, and developing coping strategies that feel realistic and sustainable.
